Sensory Nexus, is a multimedia interactive art project, transforming the scent of soil into a multi-sensual symphony. The art project employs cutting-edge “electronic nose” technology, which merges nanotechnology and artificial intelligence, to present a complex symphony of soil odours through an audio-visual spectacle.
Drawing on scientific research, the e-nose analyses biological processes in the soil and detects its volatile signatures. These data are artistically transformed into a rich, immersive audio-visual experience. Participants are invited to engage with the installation, experiencing the dynamic relationships between soil environments and human perception.
