Scientific research on the extensive networks of interactions taking place in the root sphere between plants, fungi and microorganisms inspires not only scientists. They provoke reflection and questions that go far beyond the areas of natural sciences, changing our perception of the relationship between the individual and the environment, between man and his natural, social and cultural habitat. The conference was accompanied by the multimedia art exhibition: Rhizosphere: Organism organized by the Club for Science & Art in the frame of the interdisciplinary project “Rhizosphere: The Big Network of Small Worlds”.
